[STEAMBASE] Manuka Honey Propolis Perfect Shield Mask 25ml*10EA

Of the masks I've used recently, this kind is one of the better fitting ones I've tried. It has some slits in it that help with overlapping and making a more custom fit. I have difficulty with masks fitting around my eyes, I do need to tear the slits more by my eyes to get it to lay flush against my face. The mask smells like honey as soon as I open it, but as I wear it I don't notice it as much. There is a ton of essence in the packets, so much so the mask can't hold it all and there is a lot left in the packet even after tapping more on top of the mask. Fifteen to twenty minutes is an appropriate amount of time to wear these, I've tried longer and they dry out and stick to my face. They are comfortable to wear, and leave my skin feeling more hydrated than before, but also a somewhat tight feeling that I can't place. I'm not sure if the tightness feeling is just from the essence drying down, but my skin does look nice after I use them. These are a bio-cellulose mask that is on the more delicate side, but they are packed between two pieces of mesh that seem like they could be made of plastic which I think is unnecessary and one piece would have been enough. I prefer to remove both pieces of mesh prior to application as the sides of them can be kind of sharp and I don't want to risk scratching my face with them.

I have read about the benefits of bee propolis in skincare in the past and while it always interested me, I’ve never had the opportunity to try anything with propolis in it. I will admit in the back of my mind I figured it was just another “gimmick”. Let’s face it- there are so many different skincare ingredients out on the market that it’s impossible to know what actually works. I received this mask and have so far tried using it 2 times and I am actually stunned at the results. This is the first face mask I’ve ever used that felt like it actually repaired my skin, made it look younger, and lessened my wrinkles. I attribute this to the healing and repairing properties of bee propolis.
